I studied Fine Arts. I was drawn to the burst of colour I saw as I walked through the photography department. I was enrolled in some other course at the time, far less colourful. I changed my path in the hopes I’d become a bit more colourful. You have to fight for colour, and I’ve been fighting ever since. I’ve won sometimes – and that’s been a rainbow. I’ve lost the fight too, and that’s been black and blue. The photograph of me here is in black and white. Black and white are some of the best colours.
I’ve worked with all sorts of colourful brands and campaigns in the Advertising space. In London, in Africa. I live in Africa because its the most colourful place I know. My personal work has been exhibited at Art Fairs both here in South Africa (FNB Art Fair) as well as abroad (Scope Miami, Art Up Lille, Off-ArtFair Belgium) and is represented in Europe by Galerie Galea http://galeriegalea.com/en/
